"Life Without a Subject Line"
- I came up with the title for this during the haze of a mundane work day. It seemed like every time I communicated with somebody (co-workers, friends, family) I always had to come with a subject line...agenda...what have you. Cell phones and email are so central to our communication now that you better give your reason for talking to another person, fucking ASAP!
I thought the blog world would be a good way to take some time out of the mandatory back and forth kind of communication, filling inboxes and running up cell phone minutes, and make some space for talking about ideas, showing art, sharing knowledge...these things. Sure, I'm still using the internet, and RSS feeds share blog posts/news stories in seconds...but it's still the best tool in history for exchanging ideas.
So if you wanna peep my blog - I'm flattered. Just make it the type of thing you do during an inbetween moment...when you might want to see some funny music video, or whatever random chaos I find and/or make.
